STUDENTI INTERNAZIONALI (INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS):
The course aims to analyze and create works of art with the characteristics of reproducibility, with a special focus on the events that occur in the specific field of graphics on a national and international level.
The course program originated with the reflection that in the light of the artistic experiences of the last century up to the present day, there has been a change in the relationships between the work of art and technique and so-called specific artistic fields and other fields of communication.
The information that must necessarily be included in a course that is concerned with the creation of original works of art with the characteristics of reproducibility must also refer to the very idea of reproducibility and what this has produced in the recent panorama of contemporary art. The works which today represent this idea - from graphic artwork to the multiple and the original limited edition, from the poster to the object - are characterized by the use of all techniques of printing and reproduction.
This course asks students to reimagine the traditional relationship between technique and a work of art in favor of a modus operandi (which necessarily today becomes modus vivendi) that requires an adaptation, or reinvention, of technique depending on the needs of the project and of course, the artistic language of the student.
