-Conversazione e commenti scritti in lingua inglese su temi che riguardano: Teoria del colore; percezione visiva; iconologia; vari settori dell'arte visuale e i materiali d'uso: pittura, grafica, illustrazione, video art, scultura, cinema, fotografia; monografie e filmati di artisti di madre lingua inglese: Alexander Calder, Man Ray, Paul Strand, Keith Haring, J.M Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Bill Viola, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Peter Brook, Lichtenstein, etc.; monografie e filmati di artisti internazionali: Pier Paolo Pasolini, Niki de Saint Phalle, Emanuele Luzzati, Ugo Mulas, etc.

-la prima parte consiste in una verifica che riguarda tutto il piano di studio del corso;
-la seconda parte prevede l'esecuzione di un testo scritto attraverso il quale lo studente dovrà esprimersi sul proprio lavoro artistico.

STUDENTI INTERNAZIONALI (INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS):
The work of various artists will be examined and students will be required to write several short essays regarding the thought and style of these artists. Students will be encouraged to do an oral presentation of their work, in front of the class, followed by an open discussion with the other classmates. Grammatical concepts will be explained and verified through frequent testing. Students will be encouraged to participate in conversation and are expected to acquire intermediate writing skills.
A final exam will test students in grammar and will evaluate their expressive abilities through written compositions in English.
